    Load Calculation



    Hello, I am looking for another professional opinion for our new walk in freezer. The box is built by Norlake, the dimensions are 11' X 6' 10" x 7' 6" with 4" walls. The ambient box temp. is 110F with the unit on the roof in the northeast. We will be loading around 100lbs a day of food products at around an 85F average temp. We might be in and out of the box 20x a day with minimal time inside the box. Let me know if I can give you any more specs to work with, Thank you.

    4 inch panel is a bit light for 0.0' F or -18' C should be 150mm or 6 inch.
    4 inch polyurethane is OK , 4 inch polystyrene not so good

    What product is cooled? What is storage quantity?What is required cool down/congel. time.
    Required panel thickens is at least 6 inch.
    Is the floor insulated and heated below insulation?

    At only 100 lbs/day of Freezing Load, the most significant proportion of load is going to be air exchange with that OD Ambient. How big is the door, how is the door controlled and curtained, and how much humidity is associated with the 110-ambient and the 85-product? How are you defrosting? To Clarify: what temperature and humidity will inbound air tend to be at for those internals when the door is open?

    100lbs food your case named fresh product freezing
    time of processing 12 hours
    you need 5 kw fan coil with 7mm fin spacing
    5kw compressor capacity at -25degree centigrade
    required condenser capacity 8.5 kw
