    R-22 to 407C Conversion

Recently converted R-22 to 407C on a McQuay rooftop unit that has 4 Copeland semi-hermetics. System has been operating good all summer but recently noticed on all compressors bottom oil plate gaskets are all weeping oil with proper torque settings .System does have POE oil installed in it with original gaskets from when R-22 was in operation.

Looking for information on correcting problem or has anybody experienced similar problems due to converting R-22 to 407 C.

    Thanks.

    .

I think you know what the problem is.

You just don't want to admit it

Old seals and new POE oils plus the 407.

No easy way round this except replace the seals for
    compatible ones.

This is the first section in retrofit " replace all rubber gaskets before adding synthetic oil......."
