Hi There,

New to all this and am hoping for some insight on reversing valves. I am familiar with the common thin and long cylindrical valves that are made by Ranco and others. What I have recently seen are stubbier, short and stocky cylindrical reversing valve. Does anyone know the differences between these two valves and why one would be chosen over the other? Is there a difference in how they work and their performance?

Thanks,
Pasquale
