    Mitsi Electric Air Con/Heating Interface

    Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has come across the same situation and has a solution?

A customer wants his air con to be cut-off when his existing heating system is on by means of a pipe thermistor on the radiator in the room.
Is there an adaptor or accessory that mitsubishi make that could provide this?
Or will I have to come up with something using a MAC-397IF coupled with a thermistor and thermostat?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i have not done something like this before.

    Thanks,

    John

    John,
Dependant on the Mitsubishi model that you have, you could use the simple and cost effective PAC-SA89TA interface and connect this to a strap on pipe thermostat.
This could be set to turn the A/C unit off or on depending on the set point of the thermostat.
No external power source or relays needed.
Mobile A/C at its best, see avatar.
