Saeco EH15 Portable Split Unit Air Conditioner

Hi Forum, I've just purchased the above air conditioner and both the indoor and outdoor unit are attached to each other via the refrigerant hose. I was wondering how to separate them so I can install through a hole. I've looked at the outdoor unit and it looks like you have to use a spanner to remove the hose. I was worried that I would lose the gas or if there is a valve that stops it from escaping. Hope someone can help, thanks for reading.

    Sorry Pob,

The portable units are precharged/fixed hoses, no chance of splitting them.

To do what you want to do you will need an engineer with the right tools to do it for you, or alternatively take a rather large hole in your wall.
