How to address Daikin VRV indoor units with Intelligent Touch Manager?

Hi everyone. I have 4 separate Daikin VRV condensing units tied into their own ducted units with the Intelligent Touch Manager as the only control. Does anyone know how I would address the indoor units? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would wire in the BRC, address each unit individually and then remove it?

and when you remove it reset the power or you will get an error

You need to give each indoor unit a Group address or the iTouch won't see it.

Thanks for your help. By reset power, you mean on the itm? I wouldn't connect or disconnect controller with power on the indoor or outdoor unit, right? Just trying to clarify.

Would I temporarily connect the controller to each indoor unit or can I address all of the ones in the same condensing unit group by connecting to just one?

Connect a brc controller to each individual indoor fan coil and then set the unique group number for that fan coil. Then disconnect the brc controller and reset power to the fan coil. You don't set group no's at the iTouch.

You can set a brc controller up with a short fly lead and a terminal block with 2 rivets in it then just touch the rivets onto the P1 P2 terminals to do the settings with the power on.

So I have 4 outdoors and 6 indoors, does each unit need to have its own group or are they grouped by condensers, like 1-01, 2-02, 3-03, 3-04, 4-05, 4-06?

    1-00 ,1-01 , 1-02 ,1-03, 1-04 ,1-05
then maybe the next system 2-00 ,2-01 etc
make sure u label each indoor address on each unit, map out the addresses on a system layout plan, then you can group indoors in an open plan area
