    40HP Bitzer compressor issue

I am working on a 40HP Bitzer cascade system I keep getting low oil pressure alarms on my controller. Problem is, the compressor is not even running. Wiring has been checked several times and is ok. Any suggestions?

Depends on type of oil pressure switch, is it one with time delay, if so should be last item in circuit so only on when compressor is supposed to run
Mostly found in the southern part of this green and pleasant land.

Try Checking the continuity across your oil diff/pressure switch.
maybe the contacts are open circuit causing the system to default to a oil pressure problem?
Alternatively if a pressure transducer is used try pressurising or metering it!
Then again you may well of already checked these as you state the wiring is OK!
I once had one of the Danfoss oil diff types that had a faulty neutral circuit within it.
Result the comp was locked out as described by you.

Stupid I know but some have 2 reset buttons one externally and one internally.
What type of safety circuit have you?
Incidentally some software systems require resetting electronically as well.
Just guessing at this stage, but good luck anyways!
