    Gram industrial valves

    Guys,

I have a Gram 6" angle seal cap shut off valve that is not fully seating. I am looking for any parts for the valve. The valve was manufactured in 1998.

    Thanks

    Mike

    hey mike yo,
Not sure but try Johnson controls first as they sell Gram compressor parts.
If no luck I think try Danfoss, as older style Danfoss with replaceable teflon seat would go close.
Buy a 150mm Danfoss repair kit.
If you can't afford any mucking around get a new valve welded in.

    Re: Gram industrial valves

    what size is it?
we have one or two lying around.

I would recommend to replace the whole thing, the gram valves with trapezoid threads on the spindle were/are notorious for seizing.

We have always used Danfoss valves, however for a period of time in the early 90's after getting better prices on Gram valves we used them exclusively but we spent the next year replacing valve inserts or the whole valves... same story with Grasso valves (seizing on the shaft seal, or leaking shaft seal), in the end we always end up back with Danfoss
    -Cheers-
