Hello everyone,
I'm a maintenance staff come from Taiwan,
apology for my english is very poor
I have an question need your help
my guest have one Thermo king RD-II SR
this machine often stop when it runing about 2hr or 3hr
and the monitor show alarm code 17
whose has encountered this problem??
I need your help!! Thanks!!

Engine failed to crank that's what the code means sounds like a starter problem

But this machine was shutdown when runing a few hours
I watch the monitor Engine speed was normal

When the unit reaches its set temperature the engine stops when the cargo area temperature rises the engine starts again automatically it sounds like yours is not and activating the code,you can set the unit to continuous run which will keep it running
