Post Design heat pump system Help!!!!!!

    Hi!!!

First of all hello to everyone i´m new to this forum hoping to have a great experience and learn a lot of this system and refrigeration.

I´m having some problems designing a system for heating water especifically for the showers so here in the factory decided to do it with a heat pump but this heat pump has to be made it by us
Why??? because in the near future we are planning to sell thermal plants with this type of technology.
So i have the thermal power that i need to supply to the water and the dimensioning of the evaporator, condenser and the compressor, what i´m missing is all the P&ID like temperatures controls pressure controls and valves for the flux control and safety.
Is there anyone who can help with this??? or a book where i can find this maybe an example

    Any help will be great

    Thanks in advance

How big is the system you want to design? Is it at domestic or industrial scale? There is a lot more data which you have to give us in order for us to help you. If its for standard domestic use its not a big issue because there are a lot of heat pump water heaters from almost every air conditioner manufacturer which you can do a plug and play so you dont have to reinvent the wheel.

However if its for a non standard domestic application which you have to redesign then tell us the following:
    1. Quantity of water you are handling
    2. Water flow rate
    3. rate of heating required
    4. Initial water temperature
    5. Target final water temperature
    6. type of refrigerant you want to use for the application
    7. altitude of the area where the system is going to be used
    8. provide the chemistry of your water as well if you know it

    Heat pump.jpg

Hi i´have the data for all the questions

    1 - 1200 litres
    2 - 0.322 m3/h
    3 - 7 kW
    4 - 10°C
    5 - 40°C
    6 - R134a
    7 - 700 m
8 - Not sure but the quality is poor (hard)

The system is basically for learning so in a near future we can sell this type of system but for the industries so the designing is a must

Greetings everyone and thank you in advance

Ps: attached the P&ID hoping you can help me

    Seriously???
This is something you will need an experienced R&D team to design and develop for you.
And you believe we will be able to do it over the net???

If we are able to help you with the design, will you pay us? Where will the blame lie when it all go wrong?

for it to be a real success you need to incorporate an endocube and add snake oil to it

I wonder why the girl having a shower still has her clothes on. Something wrong with this picture, haha

What is the your heat source? That is the fluid flowing flowing into your evaporator at 10degC and flowing out at 6DegC. I will also need to know your pipe lengths between system components.

Not sure with the pipe lengths but it will be a compact unit in other hand the fluid is propglycol at 30% coming of a industrial process

will it be more convenient an air source evaporator considering that in summer we have around 30 degrees and in fall and spring around 20 degrees????

Air will be the best since it is readily available. The evaporator can be located in parts of your process plant where there is reasonable amounts of heat to havest. I will make descretionery assumptions on the pipe work lengths for the purpose of calculating.

Mike there is 1200 litres of hot water.
Surely with this water capacity there would be other girls to take their clothes off, it's a matter of time.
