    Toyo Split system external fan.

    Hi Group

I am new to the forum. I have a Toyo split air con system not an inverter unit.
I am a beginner working on air con units usually I do gas and oil boilers.

The outdoor unit fan is not running but the compressor does until
    it becomes too hot.

I have traced this back to the solenoid on the circuit board not supplying
240volts. If I supply the 240volts it works fine.

A quick question is does the fan usually get switched by some thermostat in the system that might be faulty that I haven't seen or should
it simply run all the time that the unit is on for cooling?

solonoid?- do you mean relay?- test ur gettin 240 on the other side of the relay- you can flip the cover off omron pcb relays to see the contacts, some fans are 2 speed- check for wiring diagram on the lil cover plate on the electrics or indoor unit

Are you F-Gas qualified? ^what monkey said, though it might have a solid state relay which you won't be able to see the contacts on.
Mostly found in Oxfordshire, UK :)

You could temporarily wire the fan live onto the output side of the compressor contactor/relay through a small inline fuse to see if it runs OK. This will bring the fan on when the compressor runs so you shouldn't get a high pressure trip.

Remember I said 'Temporary' fix :-)

Hi there. I'm new here. I have my problem in my Toyo split air con, I guess it's Electrical Wiring is affected. I decided to find a better to fix it. Do you have any recommendation? If you have, kindly update me. Thanks!

    as guys above said

the fan relay in the indoor unit may be damaged
or the indoor pipe sensor which measure the temp then control the fan work in heating mode
so the the sensor may be fault
