You need to go back to the manufacturer of the equipment to get this info.

    We quote 20l p/kW

You need a different system. 80C and a heat pump (refrig panels or not) don't mix well. Boiler time or drop the load temp, sorry.

Most air to water heat pumps are only designed with a maximum leaving water of 55c possibly up to 60C.

Nowhere in the literature does it say 80C is achievable. I wouldn't put my name on that system, and I do a LOT of solar. Be careful.

You're talking about the "thermodynamic" panels which are basically a sun heating flat panel hex for a heat pump.

12 panels is a large amount, so I presume that you are looking to use them for space heating also in which case you need a stratified thermal store, not a buffer tank, and yes you have to have one else you'll waste all the heat from the "thermodynamic" panels (the ones that freeze up on the surface in UK winters....)

This is what you need : http://www.akvaterm.fi/eng/Accumulat...A_GEO.206.html you'll just about get away with the 300 litre version

and no there is no way around it

You don't need the solar version - that is for solar thermal systems.
