    Mains voltage

What is the voltage range typically seen in Europe/UK 230V line?

I 've measured down to 225 and up to 258.
Normally see 245 ish but officially it's 230. I only use 230 for designing circuits and calculating volt drop

    Re: Mains voltage

That's what I wanted to hear. I had a Viessmann boiler with issues that we couldn't explain and the early condensing boilers had 120V to 230V transformers in them so they could use the Euro product. We were measuring 247V and the Viessmann tech thought it might be too high. I didn't believe him and i was right. Bad trace connections on a board was the issue. sorted.
