    LG LMU360CE CH33 mystery

LG (aka Load of Garbage) throws error code CH33 high head temp which usually means low on *****. Added some r410a till air temp dropped to mid 50s. Worked for 12 hours then threw CH33 again. Pressures look good. Drawing about 25 amps at the breaker box. Ideas?

    Clean Condenser?
    Non condensables in the system?
    Faulty Discharge temp sensor?

Wise words. Reminds me of the chemisty GCSE question, what's the softest know metal to man?

    Yep, Bon Jovi.

Anyway, 25A, is that a bit high? Service manual here: http://www.coastalwinair.com/lg%20manuals/LMU360CE.pdf 5.9-16.6A in specs.
Probes can be problematic but you might want to check the basics first.

    Cheers,
    Andy.

I had That fault once on an LG 9kw split a/c
Turned out to be a $18 faulty Discharge pipe sensor
