Vacuum gauge
Hello,
Looking to buy vacuum gauge, but don't know which to pick.
Anyone have good experiences on these ?
Both electrical & mechanical. Going to buy both.

Re: Vacuum gauge
i dont like the electronic, much prefer the mechanical torr guage as long as you dont expose it to positive pressure it will serve you well

Re: Vacuum gauge
I have both CPS & JB digital gauges. Good for precision, but yep - it's hard to trust them absolutely.
A good mechanical gauge would be nice, ideally one that can take a bit of positive pressure. A colleague & I blew one up once. We were watching it at the time, & very lucky neither of us was injured.

Re: Vacuum gauge
I like my supco vg46 one vacuum thermister, I get it tested once a year for accuracy and it is still good will go down to 1Micron no problem.
Now in Redvers Sask.

Re: Vacuum gauge
Get Bluvac, it is the best out there at this moment, with Leak rate feature is plus
Also, yellow jacket is rebadge them.

Re: Vacuum gauge
As oppose to all other electronic vacuum gauges which measure vacuum indirectly by measuring heat dissipation and then converting that to pressure, this Testo gauge measure directly absolute pressure.
I prefer direct measurements!
BlueVac is excellent indirect vacuum gauge.

Re: Vacuum gauge
i have bought every micron meter 10 years ago and fond Yellow Jacket 69075 the best, I bought a bunch of the YJ meters for my techs 10 years ago and they are still working fine. However I am buying a Bluvac this weekend online because it has had such good reviews,

Re: Vacuum gauge
I have cps vg200 i use more to see if it holds at 1 torr which means no leaks when charging the system
