Help!! cannot re-assemble beko water dispenser

i have a beko cfd540s fridge freezer and in a cleaning frenzy i took the water dispenser out to clean. i pushed the bottom valve out of the dispenser to clean and cannot put it back in. it only has 4 part, the top lid, the main water unit, a spring and a plastic valve. it poppped out very easily but will not go back in. it looks pretty simple but when i put the spring back in the valve and then push it back in, it doesnt hold and just falls out. Help please !!
