    r404a freezer walk in



    have r404a freezer was very low on ref. charged it up clear glass, 240/30-35 box temp is low 20's ran for a while now icing back to compressor?

    System lost part of refrigerant charge, 404a will fractionate. Recover system charge then evacuate and start again with new refrigerant, liquid charge after fixing the leak.

    When you say it's icing back to comp do you mean onto the compressor body? R404a at that temp will frost suction line right back to to the comp service valve during normal operation but should not frost onto comp body. If you have frost on comp body this would suggest liquid yes and you should check your expansion device and superheat.
