Calorex aw629 flow lamp
Hi
I have a calorex aw629 and the flow lamp which should be green is not working. Therefore the unit is not functioning. I have chnaged the control fuse but that has made no difference. I have a sta-rite 1.5hp pump if that helps ?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: Calorex aw629 flow lamp
If the GREEN water flow light is not illuminated, check for adequate water
flow through the heat pump. Ensure the flow rate from the water pump
exceeds the minimum requirements. Ensure that the pool water bypass
valve (if applicable) is sufficiently closed to achieve minimum flow, isolating
valves to / from the heat pump are fully open and that the sand filter does
not require backwashing

Re: Calorex aw629 flow lamp
I was almost wondering if the pressure was too high ?
All the valves are the right way and when i check the pressure into the pool its seems quite high.
Is there a sensor in the heat pump that i could check ? Also, can you recommend a calorex engineer i am based nr Uxbridge.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Calorex aw629 flow lamp
is the circ pump running?
from the wiring diagram the green flow light is operated when the r3 relay is energised, no sign of any flow switch, have a look at this manual, shows wiring diagram
