BeverageAire E Series will not shut off
I'm new to this so bear with me.
I picked up a Beverage Aire E Series Refrigerator. I set the control knob to 5 and it cooled right down to 40 degrees. Problem is the fan behind the condenser will not shut off and the compressor is hot enough to cook on.
What's gone wrong?

What are your pressures? If you dial the thermostat to a warmer setting does the unit shutoff? If not then the thermostat may be faulty. If it does shutoff I would question the refrigerant charge. You may be a little low and the unit is constantly running as it tries to reach set-point. Of course it could be a combination of the two.
