100Kw packaged
We have the opportunity to air condition a small night club requiring around 100Kw of cooling.
Does anybody know where we can get a packaged roof top unit that will cope with this?
The cooling required is so high due to the number of amplifiers and speakers in the club at their busiest times.

Re: 100Kw packaged
You will probably need a lot of air changes. You can make quite some savings by having the fresh air intake precooled by cool air moving out. A total energy recovery wheel may be useful.

Re: 100Kw packaged
Daikin, Mitsubishi and Hitachi also do roof top units.
You may want to consider using more than 1 unit to do the load. Not only will this allow for lower air volumes and velocities but may help with distribution.
Close control in a Nightclub?
Pre cool the incoming fresh air? - nightclubs normally only require air conditioning during the night when ambients are much cooler so this should happen automatically (except of course on those warm barmy nights which in the UK are as rare as rocking horse Sh*t)

Re: 100Kw packaged
I would personnaly go with more then 1 unit. This will supply back up if there is a break down to.
And probably much easier to controlThe only thing I know is that I know nothing. You will always learn till you die. :D

Thank you all for your suggestions, but unfortunately the job was too expensive for the owner. Maybe he'll change his mind after the summer.
