cooling water TDS
dear all
this is my inquiry:
what is the maximum TDS (total dessolved solids) in cooling water of the cooling tower ?
what is the additives used in the cooling water ?

Maximum concentration should not exceed 300 ppm and to ensure that TDS does not increase you need to have Bleed off and add fresh water with less than 150 mm water as the make up.
Addition of chemicals to ensure the pH is slightly alkaline say pH of 7.5 to 7.8 would be better.
