    Samsung RS21DGRS reading to warm

Had this fridge freezer for about 8 years now and had the same problem time and time again with the fan icing up and making a dreadful tractor noise. Half a dozen call outs, service visits etc (last one about 18 months ago) when back panel was replaced.

Same problem again this week so switched off and defrosted overnight, all dry, switched back on again this morning hoping all would be OK! However, freezer reads normal temperature, -20 but fridge temp reads +10! The fridge certainly seems cool enough but there is clearly something wrong.

Is this simply a faulty temperature sensor in the fridge, which are available online for about £12? Can't post the link, sorry.

    Thanks

Can you measure the actual temperture? just to make 100% sure its not actually at 10'C. If your thermomitor reads diffrent to the one on the fridge the fridge thermistor (temperature sensor) is obviously wrong
