AHT Paris freezer f1 sensor error

    Hi

We bought a used AHT Paris 185 VSAD freezer for our shop and it has an F1 sensor error. It is now running at full pelt with an internal temperature of -35C!

Any ideas how to remedy this problem?

The unit has a Danfoss controller/display. Although the freezer is running at -35C the display shows 0C.

Hope you can help before the compressor blows out!

    Cheers

    Rich

The sensor is probably faulty. Its the sensor t1 with a red tag on it pushed into a hole under the coil in the compressor compartment .

Nice one Joe. The freezer had previously been revised and sold to us by Cool Solutions in Kent as a used but working machine. There hasnt been much response from their part unfortunately even though they stated on ebay a 6 month warranty!

I will check to see if the sensor has come unstuck. There was the transport from the UK to our place in France to perhaps something came unstuck.

AHT werent much help either! They just offered to send out an expensive kit to replace all the sensors, control unit and danfoss display.

I will update you. Thanks very much for replying.
