Some problem with SWEP brazed plate

I want to make chiller - I have a compressor and condenser capacity cooling 25 kw
    purchased brazed heat exchanger Swep v25THx48 / 1 b - CES
** I want to help in the selection of the flow of water and pump
QOrSs-s9CEt8.jpgQOrSs-TulnMI.jpgand water inlet and outlet and other stuff
My first post in the forum:

You have this the wrong way around, you sort all the other stuff first then select your heat ex-changer.
SWEP do not give nominal ratings.
So you say you have 25Kw, and what refrigerant, what is SSt and SCT and liquid temp.
what are you chilling, from what temp to what required temp, how much of it.
Do that then I will run through a program for you. to give you pressure drop of the heat exchanger

    type of refrigerant R22
    -10°C SST/ 47°C SCT
    Water temperature 35 c
But I want it to cool the water glycol to -2 c at night in the 3000-liter tank
To be used in the day to precooling milk on a small dairy

    thanks to replay

So you have 2 tanks, a full one and an empty one.

Yes the chiller works at night in order to cool the tank 3000 liters
    Even -2 c
in order to used in milk precooling in the daytime

I know want you want to do, but you do not.
I will point you in right direction.
and the end of milk processing you have tank of water/glycol mix at ?????C. I start to refrigerate the glycol mix, do I cool from ????? (as above) to -2C in one go, or do I chill the glycol mix from ????? to a slighlty colder temp, so that over night the whole tank is a -2C.
So describe what you want the refrigeration to do, and not only the final out come.

Re: Some problem with SWEP brazed plate

yeah right direction. This is what I want
in the end of milk processing Often the temperature of the water/glycol mix 16 C or 18 C
There are 12 hours before the second milk processing
all night to cool the 3000 liter to -2 C From 18C or 20C
    Thank you for caring ^__^

Re: Some problem with SWEP brazed plate

Using a 25% polypropylene glycol mixture you a flow of 1.1Kgs/second, 31Kpa pressure drop (plus pipework)
This will give peak duty of around 30Kw (at the start), and drop down to around 10Kw at the end.
Do not have full detail on Bristol compressors, but should be close enough and keep the comp with in envelope.
With such a varing load I would look at an electronic expansion valve.

The numbers were close enough, i had the displacement.
Size you danfoss for 20Kw 0SST and 48CSCT, that should cover the application range.

Re: Some problem with SWEP brazed plate

It is not water, so is harder to pump
so go for CP150 and install a gate valve on the discharge to control flow rate

Tell me why Mix glycol by 30% to get the water temperature -2c. *
Is it related the evaporation temperature of R22 -10c if water -2c ?
They say to get the water temperature -2c Mix 16% propylene glycol?
