Can anybody help to find out the problem of this chiller .iam attaching the reading sheet.. Recently i replace the condenser coil, recharged oil and refrigerant.

DSH very low.
Whats compressors are there? Whats full name of chiller?
If you translate parameters from program it shell be more easy to understand what happens.
Never work with Carrier soft, and want to have it, but cant find( Can i have you stuff?)))

p.s. its chiller with 4 screw compressor?

Thanku for ur respons. This is carrier chiller . Model 30GX-0352-A0176, 2circuits are there . Ciecuit A is making problem. 06T model screw compressors

Dear rus... U can see the reading. I hav charged enough gas. But low suction pressure, discharge temp is not normal . sST is going to negative . Pinch value is high .

Am running both A & B circuits , circuit b running normall. Circuit A exv is not opening more than 38%

You checked the readings of the temperature sensor and sensor low pressure?
You have a thermometer and manometer?
All data is presented in the program match reality?

I have changed LWT sensor, all pressure transeducers ,

Check your temperature sensor on suction line. Driver EXV use suction pressure transduser and temp. sensor to control superheat.

The first photo doesn't really show any obvious abnormalities. The EWT & LWT are above set point but both SST & SCT look about right as well as the pinch points.

The 2nd photo circuit A pinch point is high and SST is low. The EXV isn't opening up enough.

A couple of things to check;

With the chiller off have you verified all sensors and transducers and are reading correctly?
Has the chilled water flow been verified is it enough?
Is the filter drier ok?
Have you checked the EEV connection that screws onto the EEV. These were badly insulated which resulted in heavy corrosion.

Lastly refrigerant charge are you sure that it's enough?

we checked and replaced all sensors and transeducers, filter drier also replaced 2 week back, again the readings are same. i hav doubt on chilled water line butterfly valve, is opening properly, and the another doubt is EEV. bcoz EEV is not opening more than 38%.

now i cant swith off the chiller bcoz the factory is working on full load, i wil get shutdown on friday only.

1. Locked EXV - that is not the case, as the controller would broadcast the opening of more than 38% and parameters were similar to yours. By the way, try to disable the chiller to test the opening and closing of EXV.
ProDialog have that function.
2. Chip for stepper motors is corrupted. But i think its not.
3. Check Eco CPA2, check TXV for Eco. I think its work bad. And we have DSH temp 7K ...The controller thinks that the compressor pours liquid ***** and puts a limit open EXV ( exvlim_a - 27.8%)

30gx dont have 06t compressor. i think it is 06N.

2nd photo shows A circuit @100 % load with low suction and low EXV position, it also shows low discharge superheat protection in mode 15. Suspect oil in cooler giving low DSH. Probably short cycling.

yes 06 N compressor , at present there is no alarm in this chiller, sometime its going iow sooperheat, today i watched its working normally but in full load readings are the same which i posted yesterday

You need to find how liquid ***** comes into compressor CPA2.
It can be injection at motor winding for cooling, economizer, low superheat.
I don't trust data from controller, and check all parameters by hand.

Dear Rus... We are the main dealer form Carrier aircon in Oman. We got that CCN converter and PCDCT software from carrier itself. Installed program in our laptop. I think there is no chance to get that converter outside .

Shajan, have you checked compressor motor cooling valve as rusbuka said. Two symptoms are the cooler approach is high and low discharge superheat. High cooler approach means there is insufficient liquid in cooler.exv is controlling the discharge superheat. Hence, it is not opening more. May be your liquid injection valve is open stuck in spite of the solenoid is off.

shajan, check the discharge line temperature by using your laser thermometer to confirm the display temperature is correct.your exv is now 41.5%,what is condition of sight glass,is there any bubbles?

Circuit A suction pressure is low and EXV % open is low. A2 comp shows a lower oil pressure than A1 comp assuming all transducers are ok this would indicate high oil diff across the oil filters of 200kpa I would change all oil filters on this compressor internal and external.

You need to get the LWT down to near setpoint 6/7c and with circuit at 100% load do another log of all parameters also measure subcool at the same time as well and whether the sightglass is full or otherwise then we may be able to give you a better idea of whats happening. What alarm is B1 comp tripped on in your last log it shows a partial alarm make sure you show the actual alarm on your log. I would have thought working for a Carrier Dealer using Service Tool and PCDCT you would have someone in your company who is more familar with problems on the 30GX.

Can't find any reference to a 30GX352 ? please give correct model and serial numbers

Dear Gibbo All internal and external filters are repalced, Cir B1 compressor failure, thats why the partial alarm,
chiller model :- 30GX 0352 A0176-PEE, Serial No:-12X119594

there is one problem with the water outlet valve, its not opening properly

Where was the chiller made, the model number does not exist and I can't find any record of the serial number.
Regarding the oil filters if you have changed them along with the transducers how do you explain the 200 kpa differential on A2 compresser ?

I have 30HXC375 with same kind of issues, low DSH, low SST, EXV max 28%, PINCH 2,2K but it haves power like a charm (deltaT 2,4K 1of4 compressors...).
