A Niffty Idea (or at least i thought so!)

The other day I ended up disconnecting a badly blocked drainline from a freezer store cooler.
Just at the point where it leaves the building, which allowed the cooler to freely drain.
But left me the problem of no vapour seal.
See the attached photo for my temporary solution.

    Attachment 11385

The plastic bag is one of those re-sealable ones that most suppliers now use to send spares in.
Where the plastic seal strips are sitting touching each other but not re-sealed.
Which stops air and vapour entering the cooler drainline, but will allow water to flow from the cooler when on defrost.
Therefore allowing time to replace all the necessary parts!

Simple I know but sometimes simple is good?

    It may help someone?
