Cooling Load Calculation

I have recently been talking to a supplier who suggested that my basis for sizing Cooling coils for a FEED level study would be 'Widely inaccurate' if I based it on sensible heat gain alone.

He said that I need to consider the latent heat gains (even at this stage) if I was to get an accurate figure.

However I as under the impression latent heat did not affect the dry bulb temperature so in this concept stage it would be reasonable to assume no latent heat and size it on sensible?

Is this correct?
