    What units you'll see in your country?



    As here're many ppl from many different countries, I thought this could be interesting to see. So what units you'll see in your country?

    FINLAND:

    Single temp truck units:
    - TK TS-300 & TS-500, also MD-II's
    - Lumikko 45D & 50D
    - Carrier Supra x22 & x44, also x50 series
    Multitemp truck units:
    - TK Spectrum TS', also RD-TLE's (<= hrrrrr...)
    - Lumikko 45D & 80D
    - Carrier Supra x50 MT -series

    Single temp trailer units:
    - TK SL-200 & 400 (equally). Lots of old SMX's too
    - Lumikko 200D & 300D
    - Carrier Maxima & Vector

    Multitemp trailer units:
    - TK Spectrum SL's & SL-TCI's
    - Lumikko 200D's & 300D's
    - Carrier Vector 1800 Mt's

    CARRIER: SILVERHAWK, SUPRA 722 AND 922 (multi's avaiable)

    TK: KD, RD, MD, I AND II. never worked on a tk multi body job...and never want to!

    Trailer:

    Carrier. Eagle (perkins+kubota), thunderbird (single, multi, stand by), Phoenix Advantage (single, multi, stand by), Ultra (single, multi, stand by, stealth), Ultima 53, XTC.

    Thermo King: SLR, LWD, RLD, NWD, SNWD, SENTRY (1000-1200-2000-3000), SB II (C201), SBII DI(D201) ,SBII TC, SBIII, SB III MAX, SB III SR, SB III TC, SBIII SR WHISPER, SBIII SR WHISPER TC(I), SB 200, SB 210, SB 190, SB 300, SB 400, SB MAGNUM, and last but not least, RC II.

    Here's a couple of pics to entertain. this is the condition of a lot of reefers here. Note: First pic is of a limited run of SB II's that had cummins "A" series in it.

    Reefermadness, I am not sure what part of Canada your in but those pictures definatly are no representation of the Canada I live in!
    We have everything from the Vector to the SB310 Spectrum SR2.
    Trucks are TS Spectrum SR2 to 950 or Genesis R90.
    We have it all as in the US.
    I do have some old **** boxes er....I mean oportunitys here too but they are becoming rare.

    GAH & HUBBARD DIRECT DRIVE AND EUTETIC BEAM

    i never see a lummikkos units. In Portugal they have Carrier, Tk, Zanotti, some Eurofrigo, frigiline

    Hi Skooby,

    Lumikko's are quite cheap and simple units. Newest ones has microprocessors in them, but still very basic. They were able to sell about 200 units to Tesco, but what I've heard Tesco hasn't been that happy with them, especially with the noise.

    and KDII MAX control box , what the diference between KDII SR and MDII in the cab box control?? menu etc..??

    wow a t-k with a cummins I thought I seen it all
    and it looked beat.
    we dont run much of that in this part of canada
    all fairly new ultra xtc 2100a sb210 310
    r90 spectrums etc
    the last time I saw a benz in a t-k was 25 year ago
    in SAIT in calgary .

    We had a customer with one of those TK SB-II's with the Cummins engine... that was a long time ago, like 15 yrs? I think Cummins worked with John Deere on that one.

    And a Carrier with a Benz? The last time I saw a Benz was in a TK. That must some old, old Carrier...

    I'm with you on that one. Never seen a Benz in a CTC. Sure can't forget that perkins though!

    TK NWD 50 Had a Mercedes om636 Engine.Had to remove crank to extract pistons out the bottom of crankcase.
    We had some early Carrier units with Perkins engines

    about the time carrier "absorbed" transicold was about the last of om636 mercedes easy to get at starter nasty to work on inj. pump side [6000A] opposite of NWD then carrier went 4.108 till kabota regards butch

    carrier ran some field trials
    eagles with volvo and mitsubishi diesels also.They also had a cng field trial pheonix advantage in the early 1990's
