dont hold your breath!seen so many refrigeration wholesalers selling gas etc to non trade, and no documentation asked for? been told the wholesaler can supply to people without certification its a joke, lets see if they take all the products affected off ebay to start with!

    .

I have just done an ebay search and there are 102 on sale at the moment.

I try to keep an open mind about this but I can't see how the environmental agencies
can possibly police this and it strikes me as a publicity thing to highlight things.

In truth would they spend money and resources on one domestic install??

There are laws already in place, when poeple take the #### too much they'll have no choice but to police it. Not a problem if you work to regulation. If they want to do somthing they should stop places like halfords from selling R134A..

HOT AIR, the industry has always been the same they bring in these policies and expect people to abide by them with out anu policing, if there was no police on the streets and no prisons do you think people would not break the law? what they need to do is make a example out of a big company and that should sent some of the others running

Until every installation requires registration on a national online data base with refrigerant quantity and location then the entire thing is pointless.
