LG Cold freezer warm fridge

Hi team,

Great forum you have here. I'm having some issues with my LG fridge/freezor. It was leaking heaps of water into the fridge. The heater burnt a hole in the silver liner and water was getting into the fridge. I put new liner in, siliconed up the hole but now the fridge wont get cold. The fan works constantly but just wont push air into the fridge, vents are open so im not sure whats going on.

The only thing i can think of is on this model fridge there isnt a thermostat that clips to the piping, just a " CONTROL ASM DEF MICOM " that dangles near the fan. not sure where this thing is suppose to sit? It's covered in clear rubber with what looks like plastic on one side.

It's pretty crap describing things over the internet, anyway. thanks in advance.

If the Freezer is getting cold but the fridge isnt it could be short of gas.
