JLSS2009 cold freezer, warm fridge

I have a 5 year old Electrolux SS2009 fridge/freezer that has developed the warm fridge, cold freezer syndrome. The fridge shuts down but the freezer continues to work normally. Defrosting the unit for 24 hours results in it working normally. After approximately 5 days the fridge stops working again. Freezer OK but there is ice visible in the Air Grid. I am not a refrigeration mechanic and the local experts here in St. Vincent (southern caribbean) have not been able to help. I have done some research and I find that the possible reasons are 1. Circulating fan not working. 2. Heater element not working. 3. Timer not working. 4. The unit that controls 1,2 and 3. Any insight or assistance would be greatly appreciated and/or a Service/Maintenance Manual
