Daikin BRC1c61 how to set high static pressure? and I also have an error code.
I have a Daikin BRC1C61 controller.
What is the code for setting "high static pressure"?
Has anyone got a link to the manual that has a list of all the codes etc?
I also have an error code that is showing.. 1-UR

High air outlet velocity is
Mode number 13 (23)
Switch setting no 0
Second code 02The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits.

Don't recognise the UR code, could it be UA?

Re: Daikin BRC1c61 how to set high static pressure? and I also have an error code.
I managed to get the high static fan setting, wow, has made a difference.
In that manual, the "setting" codes have an option for "high air outlet velocity". We have the attic mounted cassette type air handler with the flex ducts. Would that feature be for that or for the one that is mounted on the ceiling that blows directly into the room. It would make my day if I was able to get more flow out of the supply vents. But somehow I don't think I will be able to double dip because I did just boost it to the high static pressure.

So UA means "UA System Excessive number of fancoils" What the?
I only have one outdoor unit and one indoor unit?
How do I check this setting then? And what effect would it have on the system?

I see there is a code 21: 01, or 02, 03, 04, which is for Pair, Twin, Triple and Double Twin
"Setting number of connected Sky Air simultaneous operation system indoor units"

ua- can also mean incorrect capacity setting on indoor pcb also is the capacity set plug fitted- if a replacement pcb is fitted sometimes they dont send it

Ok, what effect would that have on my system then. I only have the one indoor unit and the outdoor unit.

Yeah i think that code has been there for ages. When we had a guy look at it about a year ago he said something about an error code.

Re: Daikin BRC1c61 how to set high static pressure? and I also have an error code.
How do I reset my error codes. Do I open up the outdoor panel, and with the circuit breaker on, but the actual AC off at the wall, then hold the reset button for 5 seconds?
or do I have to have the actual unit running inside then hold the reset for 5 seconds.
If I can reset it, then if it comes back with that code later on then I can investigate further.

Re: Daikin BRC1c61 how to set high static pressure? and I also have an error code.
1. Okay will try that. Is that the same as me resetting from the outdoor unit?
2. Also do I have a Pair, Twin, Triple, Double Twin. Well I have the outdoor unit and a ceiling mounted ducted cassette.
21-0-01 = PAIR (Split)21-0-04 = DOUBLE TWIN
21-0-02 = TWIN
21-0-03 = TRIPLE
Maybe this is why I have that error code.
3. Also I took a picture of the indoor PCB, to see if that jumper was set. Where on the board is the specific jumper?
4. Had it off at the circuit breaker. After flicking the main power back on, after about 10 seconds or so the outdoor unit starts clicking, click, click, click. I did take a video I will have to post.

21 0 01- pair split system 1 indoor , 1 outdoor unit
to reset fault on the outdoor unit- kill outdoor power for over 10 seconds then power up
the clicking is of the electronic expansion valve driving closed

Re: Daikin BRC1c61 how to set high static pressure? and I also have an error code.
I also do not has a jumper on the indoor PCB for the capacity settting.
But is that needed even if I just have the one indoor unit and therefore I will be set up as a pair and not a twin, triple etc.
I assume the capacity set jumper is if you have three indoor units that have three different power levels. ie one might be 2Kw, one might be 5Kw and the other 3Kw. But in my case with just the one unit in the attic, I think the service manual said that it was preset at the factory.......????

Re: Daikin BRC1c61 how to set high static pressure? and I also have an error code.
terminal x23 on indoor pcb is for capacity setting plug- should have a small resistor plugged onto the 2 pin terminal with a lil sticker stating the capacity of the indoor ie 140,125,100,71,50,35

Yeah, nothing there. What does this mean then. What happens if it is not there?
