    Barker-board-87-5201

    Hi all,

I am trying to find some information on an obsolete GB Pack control board.

The board part number 87-5201. DCX12B I think.

There is already a thread here on RE.com, however i cannot send messages to the participants. I would like to know if anyone can send me the parameter list, set up list or anything else in regards to this control board.

here is the thread, my requests are similar:

    Many thanks,

    Si

    Si,

Is it a pack control board or a plant alarm board?
We certainly have data for the plant boards but not 100% sure on the controller.

If it is a case controller we should also have it here.

    Hi Ian,

After chasing around the engineers, it appears to be the alarm monitor board.

It appears that the plant is controlled on an Elm Board, then goes to this before the Store-Scan 3. I am still trying to establish whether the board has a port for a handheld! and why you would need to..

Anything I can get would be fantastic!

    Cheers,

    Si

If it is the plant boards then it has 12 inputs and the handset port. The handset allows you to program the group and section number for each input individually. On a Storescan III panel the plant faults always start at Group: 40 Section:1 for plant 1. It goes up G40:S2 etc. until you reach Section 30. The next plant along is Group 41 Section 1.

    What store is it in?

I will see if i can find the datasheet for you.

    Hi Ian,

Thanks so much for the Data sheet, I am heading to site on Monday so I can plug in and try to check the parameters.
The board does have 12 inputs and a handset port, so I'm now feeling much more confident. I feel that either the board needs reconfiguring, or the address has been lost on the Elm. Failing that, the GB board is failed, and we need to consider other routes.

I will let you know how I get on.

    Si.
