Made my day
Got called to an old Foster upright 'freezer' yesterday at an old peoples home in Croydon. The staff there complained that it wouldn't go below -15 deg.C. I noticed that there was a sticker on the door indicating +1 to +4 deg.C but thought no more about it as I reckoned probably at some time in the past someone had fitted a door from a fridge. Looked at the evap. & it was a complete ice monster. Hang on, I'm sure Foster freezers run on R404a & not R134a as the sticker said on the compressor & what's this, there's no defrost output on the temp. controller? Yep, it was a FRIDGE! What had happened was that the cooling relay was stuck on the controller meaning that it was running flat out 24/7 & they'd been using it to store frozen food for the last fortnight. I couldn't believe that it had reached -15. A guy there told me that a local (shall remain nameless) white goods shop had sold it to them 2nd.-hand as a freezer! Always be prepared to expect the unexpected

Noah had to leave the dinosaurs behind as they would've sunk the boat.
