Hi Sedgy. They came pre fitted. All we did was connect the mains.it was running perfectly.

Check the contactor! I make it a habit to replace the contactor when replacing the compressor. Especially if the failure is electrical related.

    Do you have proper voltage?

It could be the capacitor. More than likely the start winding is staying in circuit.

as long as input voltage is correct, you didnt dump liquid in it when it was running, correctly vacced, any crankcase heater energised then usually you dont have problems- also monitering operating pressures, running current whilst charging/comissioning.-any strange noises???
but did you find the reason for the last pot failing- dirty coils, loose wire causing chattering, sometimes you can fit a duff pot- therefore- warranty

Apparently the pipework in the condensate tray was replaced prior to the compressor failing

    Re: aspera compressor failure.

was it vacced properly- did you weigh the charge in then run it?? or charge whilst running the pot?- sometimes the re evap trough is done in 5/16 pipe- so shisters use 1/4 pipe as its easier to bend- also was it a copper spun drier?? - clogged cappillary line
if you didnt get the moisture/crap out the system, thats prob why pot went pop- remove duff pot, blow nitrogen down the suction line- with the open end ( discharge pipe) blow it for a good while- replace the drier for a flared 1 as you can get oxidation crap from brazing- this can also cause blockages
