New evaporator on chest freezer
Hi!
I have made a new evaporator for a little 12v chest freezer, the original one have a leak.
The evaporator was made of 1/4 cooper tube.
I used dancap to estimate the length of the cap tube, the goal was an evaporator temp of -20ºc, the compressor is 63w rated at this temperature.
It was ended like this:
Room temp 17ºc (it's cold here)
Evaporation temp -25ºc
Condenser temp 25ºc
Superheat 7k
The condenser is ventilated by fan.
The condenser temperature seems low , isn't it?
Should I increase the cap tube lengh? if I do that the evaporator temperature won't get lower?
