    Resteraunt A/C

Can anyone give me a rule of thumb w/m duty for a resteraunt seating area? Equipment salesman is suggesting 150w/m but that seems a little on the high side me?

depends if you want it to work in the most extremes- usually 110w /m2 for general office usually 150w/m2 for a conservatory- if you undersize it- its gonna chugg its nuts of and not reach setpoint- also allow for kitchen equipment- stick a lossnay unit in for free cooling at night

The lesson I have learned with restaurants is that is they have an open kitchen, stick the most powerful kit in they can afford......all that nice cool air will get sucked up and out through the kitchen extract canopy before you can say "How the F are you're filters so greasy?"
