HELP! Fijutsu ASYA30LCC

Hello.

Looking for any ideas on how to fix this Fijutsu Inverter ASYA30LCC Air con unit. The engineer set it up for use with a manual thermostat on the wall and told us not to use the remote control or it will stop working, well someone decided to use the remote. When you switch it on it works for about 30 seconds then turns off? Is there a way of resetting this ? economy and operation lights flash green and time light flashes red.
