Mitsubishi heavy industries 407 VRF compressor fails
Hi all,
From last year........
We have recently taken looking after a company with lots of Heavy industries VRF on
407, the few 3pipe systems have been destroying compressors within 12 months one recently in 5 months ! It's only the 3 pipe systems that have the problem and I have been told other sites have had the same issue with these systems -FDCP280HKXRE2A !
From today....... One system fractured a pipe in the condenser so we repaired and replaced with fresh gas. The system ran for a few hours then the compressor failed. Replaced compressor the new one lasted 3 days argh !!!
Any ideas pleeeease ?????
Matt

Re: Mitsubishi heavy industries 407 VRF compressor fails
in MHI KX i never see problems in IGBT or IPM. With burned, over current or locked compressors every time electric parts was fine. Its not daikin vrv2-3, if you have burned comp. you always have PCB what you can throw away.
p.s. install monkey you can see what happens with 3D compressors in KХ6 systems. All bearings was locked.

Re: Mitsubishi heavy industries 407 VRF compressor fails
My little fault. KX2 is without Menta. Only SLCheker and hands. In 3 pipe KX2 was trouble with oil return from PFD blocks. In KX4 this trouble was fixed.

Re: Mitsubishi heavy industries 407 VRF compressor fails
One more try then I'm running like the wind !
Funny how MHI can make such a massive heap of **** and just shrug their shoulders in a tough luck manner !
Reports from a local university that had stacks of these installed that they had all the same issues due to oil return, problem there on is it only gets worse as each burnt out compressor just adds that little bit more contamination.
Also the indoor pipework temps vary so much as you go through it all, the oil must be clogged up acid to the eyeballs !

Re: Mitsubishi heavy industries 407 VRF compressor fails
You know how many Daikin VRV2 and VRV3 3 pipe was dead by arrive? Or how often inverter in FGL V series dead by month.
All manufacturers were problems in the beginning of the thorny path. Someone makes conclusions and improves, someone never changes)
