    EXV control with PID

    Hello community members!
I have a question concerning electronic expansion valve's (EXV) control with PID. The situation is as follows, company that I represent is building a brine-water heat pump prototype and EXV's control is integrated in the main control board which is designed by us. I have found some info about K prop, Ti and Td values for different applications and ways to get PID algorithm working, but what I am trying to find is equations to simulate superheat and evaporator pressure values at specific PID parameters and operating conditions to shorten the time needed for testing if the parameters are OK. Maybe someone has an advice where to find a literature that describes similar matters or how to do it!?

    Thanks!

Have a read of some Carel documents, they may help.

I have already read some Carel documents, but not about this controller! Thanks!

Sorry from rising the thread from the dead, but I'm really curious if you managed to solve the PID control problem.
