pump fundamentals
Can anyone give me some info on calculating flow rate of water on chilled water systems using the pressure drop across the pipe and the pump.
What should the minimum pressure on the pump inlet be?
What ratio would we get from high to low etc?

Re: pump fundamentals
Inlet pressure should not be below atmospheric.
You really need the pump curve from the manufacturer to be able to establish the flow rate through the pump.Last edited by Brian_UK; 04-03-2006 at 07:17 PM. Reason: Spelling... again !!
