    FIAC Air compresor Dryer unit

Was asked to look at a fiac air compressor dryer unit model CRS10.
Runs on 134a and has a bye pass valve installed which is I presume is used for defrost, there is a phial/sensor on the valve which looks to have the sensor on the evaporator which is enclosed in the compressed air system.
Gauges on and the bye pass valve is fully open/or closed and refrigerant short circuits back to compressor, no tech manual on the refrigeration side available.
Not sure at this stage whether to get involved any further.
    Anyone encountered these ?

Thanks I had a copy of that from the customer.
I was looking for the parameters in which the bye pass valve operates but the manual doesn't outline this.
As it's not my normal type of work I decided not to go any further as many hours can be spent head scratching on stuff that's not familiar.
    Cheers
