    Blocked chiller pipes

    Hi everyone
Does any one know the best way to clean out scaled up chiller pipework?
I have a customer who has a Blue Box chiller serving process cooling for a plastics factory and a lot of the internal bore of the cold water/glycol pipework is badly scaled up. I would like to clean out the pipe and not replace it. I have heard of descaling pumps but have never used them. Is this the answer and if so what would be a good descaling solution to use?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Sounds like a rather sick system.
What is the scale? That is the question before treatment! and how did they scale it up?
What is pipe composition? and pipe size?
I love the smell of Ammonia in the morning!

Fastest and cheapest will be to replace the HE.
