Long continuous running times with warm condenser temp and hot compressor temp

Would this indicate overcharge or undersized compressor

It's unlikely to be the wrong compressor on a new machine.

True! but could this be a symptom if it was an undersized compressor

It could mean a lot of things, it could even mean that your system is operating correctly.
Before we start hitting you with solutions we need to at least know what we are looking at and the symptoms...

    Application?
    Refrigerant?
    Manufacturer/model?
    (Measured) Pressures?
    (Measured) Temperatures?
Would be a good starting point...
