£200 for this little thing?? Danfoss TLES6KK.2

I was shocked when I was quoted £200 (inc VAT) for this tiny compressor.

I very rarely work on domestic chillers and hardly ever see the cost of the parts I order. But am I not right in thinking that compressors larger than this generally only cost £80??

Please post if you know of a supplier who can get me one of these or something that will do the same job.

    Danfoss TLES6KK.2 R600a

Try living on the bottom of the world and three Danfoss regional offices or agents clip the bill. They have priced themselves out of the market with all danfoss products.
Double check more and more products are made in China, which is increasing the failure rate and trade resistance to the products. Hopefully some one from D/foss reads this

Thanks for all the replies. Appreciate the help. Not used to sourcing parts like this!

Could anyone help me with finding the Aspera or other equivalent? It'd have to be the same dimensions as the Danfoss as it's a snug fit.

The fridge is already on R600, that's not a problem for me.
