Toshiba Split Problems
Hi guys
i have 3 toshiba splits all linked with 1 hard wired remote.
it has a external box which is time switch interface.
my problem is i cant get the controller to turn on but if i go to each indicidual fan coil and wire the remote it will work. i think its also wired into a bms but the site tsa says that its active and there should be no problems being able to turn ac on.
look forward to your feedback

Re: Toshiba Split Problems
The remotecontroller on/off button will be overridden whenever an interface is connectedto socket CN06, regardless of whether the RBC-IT2–PE is in use or not. Allother functions of the remote controller remain unaffected.
Also, check red boxes!Last edited by nike123; 08-10-2013 at 11:14 PM.

Re: Toshiba Split Problems
Red TEXT boxes!
Ensure that the electrical feed to the time clock is the same electrical phase as the “L” terminal on the single phase units or “L1” on the three phase units. These terminals are the single phase derivation from the outdoor unit in each case. Zero voltage should be measured between terminal 1 of the Type T2 and terminal 1 of the indoor unit when energised. If 400 V.a.c. is detected between these two terminals it is essential that the unit is isolated and the correct phasing is determined.

Re: Toshiba Split Problems
So you are saying if you fully disconnect BMS and Toshiba timer RBC-IT2-PE from indoor units terminals (all 3 units separated and independent) you still cannot switch ON any of 3 indoor units with their infrared wireless remote controller.
Did I correctly interpreted what you are facing with?

Re: Toshiba Split Problems
Right found the problem it was reverse phase protector touching down to back of unit. Swapped it from another condenser and all working now
