daewoo american fridge freezer water dipenser

i have a Daewoo FRS American fridge freezer and for the last few days when I use the water dispenser it works fine until I remove the glass, then after about 5-15 seconds later the dispenser starts shooting out water itself all on to the floor!

I have tried turning off from the mains, any ideas?

I have had to keep the water supply tap turned off because of this now for the last few days.
