Effect of Delta P of Evaporator on Mcquay Aircooled Screw chiller Compressor

We have Mcquay Aircooled Screw chiller McENERGY 143.2 Model HA-ST with MicroTech 11 C plus Contoller.The Designed Delta P of Evaporator is 4 psi.Would someone advise as to what would be the Effect on above Compressor,suction pressure& performance of chiller if Delta P ie the Difference b/w Evaporator inlet& outlet pressure is less than 4psi

generally would indicate low water flows through heat exchanger and would result in low suction pressures at compressor and the risk of freezing an evaporator tube.

As Pressure drop directly proportional to water flow rate.So if pressure drop reduces water flow rate decreases.And delta T increases.As now water velocity is slow.and temperature reduces very fast and hence Suction pressure reduces.
