    ilsa blast chiller

Hi all,ive a ilsa blast chiller, code ABV3024,it runs normal for about 5 min or so and then it knocks off, display shows hp fault, ive cleaned condenser coil, cleaned fan blade, replaced hp sensor probe and replaced pcb board.Hp gauge reads about 225 -230 psi before it knocks off,lp gauge reads about 38 psi.ive also reclamied gas and weighed charge back in,it runs on r404a,thanks

What is the high pressure cutout point? Seems to be cutting out way too low if you only get to 230 psi. Check that sensor resistance as recommended by install monkey.

Are you sure in your gage pressure reading? Did you checked your gage at high pressure to known pressure?
Do you connect your gage at same place where HP sensor is connected to system without any obstacle in between?

I have seen countless times that someone is confident in his HP pressure gage reading while that gage is way off at high pressure and OK at atmosphere.

R-404 shoud work fine at this pressure, it is not too high, As Nike said, check your gauge.
I suspect a restriction some where in the system.

did you fill the unit with virgin refrigerant? R-404 acts funny sometimes and the most simple solution is to replace the charge with virgin refrigerant.
Can you set the high pressure controll higher?
