    Electrolux Fridge Freezer

    hi,

i wonder if any of you guys might be able to help, im working on a Electolux ER2656B Frost Free Fridge Freezer, but for the life of me i cant figure out what the problem might be,

heres the history, customer phoned saying it was not cooling properly neither fridge nore freezer was cold, brought back to work shop to investigate, have check for leaks with a fine toothed comb but cant seem to find any, have checked the gas it has not lost any, have taken the back panel of the inside of the freezer and can see the evaporator, now i can physicly see frost forming on the coil for about 5 seconds then disappearing and then reappearing after about 30 secons, so only about 1/4 inch of the pip frosts then goes then frosts again?, i have never seen this before, i know im proberly missing something really simple but i just cant figure it out

any help would be much appreciated
    Cheers
    Steve

    .

You need to run it with your gauges fitted and see what
the pressure is as this happens.

If the compressor is not pumping properly or if there is
a restriction in the dryer - capillary tube you will see the pressure
    change on the gauges.
